About Sherry Harradence
Sherry Harradence
From a very tender age, Sherry displayed an interest in the creative arts. From drawing on walls to approved surfaces, her creativity was nurtured by encouragement from her parents and has since blossomed into the talent it is today. Sherry lives and loves Arizona and has resided since 1999.
While Sherry has had formal training as an artist, her style is fresh and expressive. Her Mixed Media, Watercolors, Monoprints and Pastel paintings have been published online and in creative arts magazines as well as displayed in Private and Corporate Collections in Canada and the USA. A busy Sales Professional as well as an Artist and Art teacher, Sherry enjoys helping others find their unique artistic expression.
After many years exploring painting, ceramics, printing, welding, and more, Sherry has embraced mixed media printmaking. She draws inspiration in this form of printmaking, which uses a matrix such as plexi-glass plates, copper, or blocks to produce unique, one-of-a-kind impressions. Her late husband Bruce was also a source of inspiration and encouragement. A true supporter of her craft, Bruce was instrumental in Sherry’s decision to settle on one piece of equipment to use to express her creativity; her Monoprint Press. With this medium, she honours her late husband and inspires others to express their creativity through color.
“Life is fragile and we need to not be afraid to live. Learn to trust your inner voice, be kind and nurture yourself and be resilient. Who knows us best...you, so don't let anyone drive your car. Take the ride as your Life is Priceless."
Stay tuned and working on my Children's Book "Freckle Face"
